Get up to Speed! Prepare for the Upcoming Year

Studies report it take teachers as long as 4 to 6 weeks at the start of a new school year to help students brush up on skills they had previously mastered before summer break. In some cases, students will lose more than two months’ worth of learning during the summer months. StepUp is conducting a 3-day math program for rising middle school and freshman students to help alleviate the “Summer Brain Drain
